Walk to Stop the Stigma
April 21 @ 8:00 am - 11:00 pm
Join us for the Walk to Stop the Stigma on April 21, 2018. Our annual walk is a family-friendly, fun and important event, a 3-mile walk along the beautiful Walkway Over the Hudson in Poughkeepsie, NY. Last year’s event raised close to $30K for Drug Crisis in Our Backyard, and allowed us to continue to expand our important work throughout the region.
Anyone interested is encouraged to sign-up to walk. We ask each walker raise at least $50 in pledged donations to support their walk. All money raised will go to support programming and resources for individuals and families struggling with addiction.
Registration starts at 8am and the walk will begin at 9am!
This walk is being held in special memory of Ray Dorritie who passed away on January 21, 2018. He was an integral part of Drug Crisis in Our Backyard as Deputy Director and he will be sorely missed. We walk in his honor, please join us!
