Gather at the Ulster Welcome Center and join local natural science teacher John “Skip” DeGilio, a specialist in the geology of the Hudson River, as he presents his lecture “How The Hudson Was Formed” beginning at 11 a.m. This 90-minute presentation will explore the unique nature of our river, and the characteristics that make it unlike all other rivers in America. A Q&A will follow.
The Ulster Welcome Center Pavilion is covered and will be equipped with heating towers. Bring a lunch to complete this fun and informative experience.
This lecture is complimentary to attend for Walkway members and all seniors residing in assisted living. The general public is welcome to attend for a suggested donation of $5.
