Learn about the history of our historic railroad bridge while appreciating breathtaking views of the Hudson River.
You’ll learn the detailed history of this 130-year-old marvel of engineering, and the complete story of how it came to become the longest elevated pedestrian bridge in the world. All presentations are given by trained Walkway volunteer ambassadors.
This event is complimentary and begins at the Walkway’s East Overlook (adjacent to the elevator) at 1 p.m. each day. The presentation lasts approximately one hour.
