Walkway At Night

Experience Walkway Over the Hudson like never before at Walkway at Night, when the sun sets and the Hudson Valley begins to glow. From 212 feet above the river, take in breathtaking views as the moon rises overhead and the lights of Poughkeepsie and Highland shimmer in the distance. There’s truly nothing like a twilight stroll across the World’s Longest Elevated Pedestrian Bridge.

Weather permitting, our friends from the Mid-Hudson Astronomical Association will join us on the bridge with telescopes, offering a closer look at the night sky and the celestial wonders above.

Walkway members attend free. Non-members may purchase tickets for $5 in advance or at the gate. Children 12 and under are free. Pre-registration is encouraged to shorten your wait at the gate.

Friends of the Walkway is a nonprofit partner of New York State Parks. All proceeds and additional donations from Walkway At Night directly support our mission to connect communities and enhance the Walkway experience for all through engaging programs, special events, and ongoing improvements.

Walkway members have been emailed a special discount code to use upon registration providing one complimentary admission to Individual members, and up to four complimentary admissions for Household members.
