Walkway Connections (For Kids!): Using Patterns In Artwork

Participants will use a black and white outline of the Walkway and surrounding mountains, river, boats, buildings etc., to fill in with various patterns at this fun and interactive art event led by Rose Gennaro on Friday, October 10 from 5-6 p.m. at the Ulster Welcome Center (87 Haviland Road, Highland). All Walkway Connections events are free to attend, no RSVP required.
A volunteer Ambassador for the Walkway Over the Hudson, Rose Gennaro is also an established Artist in the area. She has a BS in Art Education and an MS in Fine Art and has a passion for painting beautiful scenery and subjects that inspire her. In addition, she has studied under local and accomplished artists in the region. She has taught art privately, in public schools and is currently teaching online. Her style is a combination of realism and impressionism, with an emphasis on light and dramatic contrasts.
