Walkway Connections: Formation of the Hudson River
April 13 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Violent torrents of water. Glacial behemoths. A drowned river. What do all of these things have in common and how did they affect the formation of the Hudson River that stretches over 300 miles today? Join us on Sunday, April 13 at 2 p.m. at the Ulster Welcome Center in Highland (87 Haviland Road) to find out!
This program is presented by Friends of the Walkway staff member Tamara Palmateer. Tamara worked as an environmental educator for six years before joining the Walkway team. Her love of the outdoors and childlike curiosity drives her fascination to understand why things in nature are the way they are and thus reveal grand tales of times long ago.
All Walkway Connections events are free to attend and suitable for all ages.
