50 Meaningful Miles Run/Walk Meetup

Walkway Over the Hudson has partnered with Family Services to support their 50 Meaningful Miles campaign and encourage everyone to experience the dramatic physical and mental health benefits of outdoor exercise in a beautiful location.
Runners and walkers of all ability levels are invited to meet like-minded individuals on the Walkway to complete some meaningful miles of their own at our Run/Walk Meetups on Saturdays from August 19 to September 23 at 9 a.m. and find a supportive community dedicated to getting active, spending time in nature, and overcoming challenges – whatever they may be. These run/walk meetups are free to attend and open to all. No RSVP required.
The meet-up group will gather on alternating ends of the Walkway each week as follows:
Saturday, August 19 – Dutchess Welcome Center (Poughkeepsie)
Saturday, August 26 – Ulster Welcome Center (Highland)
Saturday, September 2 – Dutchess Welcome Center (Poughkeepsie)
Saturday, September 9 – Ulster Welcome Center (Highland)
Saturday, September 16 – Dutchess Welcome Center (Poughkeepsie)
Saturday, September 23 – Ulster Welcome Center (Highland)
On Saturday, September 30, participants are invited to join Family Services CEO Leah Feldman as she crosses the Walkway as part of her quest to complete a 50 mile fundraising run in one day to symbolize the journey that many face in overcoming challenges and reaching the finish line of healing and hope.
