Walkway Medallions
Preserve a memory and create a legacy by dedicating a medallion to memorialize or honor a loved one.
Dedicate a medallion at our Center Overlook to honor and celebrate a person or organization that has made a tremendous impact on the Walkway. These foundational gifts allows us to undertake significant capital projects, host innovative programming, and enhance the Walkway experience for visitors while permanently recognizing and remembering those that make Walkway Over the Hudson so special.
Walkway's Bronze Medallions are custom designed and engraved trail markers permanently mounted on the north railing of the bridge. Over time, the elegant and weather resistant pieces develop a beautiful natural patina. Medallions are installed for supporters pledging $10,000 and above to support the mission and strategic vision of Friends of the Walkway.
The installation of each medallion includes a dedication ceremony on the bridge to unveil the memorial to family and friends. This gift also includes tickets to our annual Starry Starry Night benefit.

Bench Plaque
Honor a loved one with an engraved plaque on one of Walkway's historic benches. Crafted from reclaimed Ipe wood once used on the Coney Island Boardwalk, these benches offer visitors a place to pause, reflect, and enjoy the beauty of the Hudson Valley.

Adopt-A-Light
Celebrate a cherished memory with a personalized plaque displayed on one of Walkway's solar lights. Families may select a light number with special significance. Each adoption includes a five-year display, with renewal options available.
