July 4th Fireworks Spectacular

This Independence Day, Friends of the Walkway invites the community to experience the City of Poughkeepsie 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular from the world’s longest elevated pedestrian bridge – perched 212 feet above the Hudson River at eye level to the dazzling display before you.

On Saturday, July 4 at 6 p.m., Walkway Over the Hudson will open exclusively to ticket holders offering panoramic twilight views and an unforgettable perspective on the professional fireworks show launching between 9-9:30 p.m.

Proceeds from ticket sales support Friends of the Walkway and are reinvested to realize our strategic vision to create meaningful, on-the-ground experiences for every person who steps into the park.
