Pride In The Sky

Kick off Pride season by lighting the World’s Longest Elevated Pedestrian Bridge in rainbow. Presented in partnership with Big Gay Hudson Valley and the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation, and Historic Preservation, this free event serves as the kick off to LGBTQ+ Pride season in the region.

Returning to the Walkway on Saturday, May 30 from 3-10 p.m., Pride In The Sky spans the entire Hudson River between Dutchess and Ulster Counties, bringing together thousands of members of the Hudson Valley LGBTQ+ community and their supporters for one magical evening on the World’s Longest Elevated Pedestrian Bridge. The event includes community festivals on both sides of the Walkway in Ulster County and in Dutchess County, live entertainment, food, libations, and a nighttime dance party under the stars at the center of the bridge.
