The Twilight in the Parks concert originally scheduled for Saturday, August 17 from 6-7:30 pm. will be rescheduled. The date and time will be announced at a later date. The concert will be held on the Highland (Ulster) side at the Visitor’s Center.
Come listen to rockabilly sounds from Lara Hope’s Gold Hope Duo. This husband and wife team have been hitting it hard, spreading “Merry-Cana”, a term they coined to describe their genre. They will be bringing their unique brand of stripped-down, upbeat Rockabilly, Rhythm & Blues, Country, Folk and a pinch a humor to Walkway Over the Hudson. Living by the motto “If you can’t do it, kazoo it!”, this pair is sure to make you laugh, drink, and dance.
Featuring musicians from the Hudson Valley, Twilight Music in the Parks outdoor concerts are free and open to the public. People are invited to come hear the music, enjoy the great outdoors and experience all NY State Parks have to offer.
In case of inclement weather, the Gold Hope Duo at the Walkway will be rescheduled for a future date. Please check for updates on the Walkway’s Facebook page or visit http://www.parks.ny.gov/
