On January 29, the Friends of the Walkway Over the Hudson and its Board of Directors honored Walkway stewards, members of the Walkway 1000, donors, and corporate partners at Farmers & Chefs in Poughkeepsie.
Attendees shared personal stories about why Walkway Over the Hudson State Historic Park is significant in their lives, and learned more about the transformative projects their support makes possible.

Walkway stewards are honored via the medallions and bench plaques at the center of the park. Their foundational support is vital to ensuring Walkway Over the Hudson is a vibrant, welcoming place for the more than 600,000 visitors that cross the span each year.
