Walkway Medallions
Preserve a memory and create a legacy by dedicating a medallion to memorialize or honor a loved one.
Dedicate a medallion at our Center Overlook to honor and celebrate a person or organization that has made a tremendous impact on the Walkway. These significant and foundational gifts allows us to undertake significant capital projects, host innovative programming, and enhance the Walkway experience for visitors while permanently recognizing and remembering those that make Walkway Over the Hudson so special.
Walkway's Bronze Medallions are custom designed and engraved trail markers permanently mounted on the north railing of the Walkway. Over time, the elegant and weather resistant pieces develop a beautiful natural patina. Medallions are installed for supporters pledging $10,000 and above to support the mission and vision of the Friends of the Walkway nonprofit organization.
The installation of each medallion includes a dedication ceremony on the bridge to unveil the memorial to family and friends. This gift also includes tickets to our annual Starry Starry Night benefit.
