Tony Marano remembers when Maybrook was the gateway to New England.
“The Maybrook switching terminal had five separate railroads bringing cars into it,” says Marano, now 92.
“It was the biggest rail yard east of the Mississippi.”

Walkway's elevator, merchandise and information pavilions, and electric tram have ended operation for the season. Indoor restrooms remain open near each gate throughout the year.
