POUGHKEEPSIE, NY—The Walkway Over the Hudson nonprofit organization has hired Trish Prunty to serve as its new Vice President of Philanthropy.
Ms. Prunty brings extensive fundraising experience with prominent Hudson Valley-based nonprofits to the position. She has worked for organizations such as ERVK, the Dutchess Community College Foundation, and Planned Parenthood Mid-Hudson Valley. She has a Master’s Degree in Nonprofit Management and volunteers with several local organizations.
“As the Walkway approaches its 10th anniversary in 2019, we wanted to bring a professional fundraiser on board to help the organization that supports this incredible park reach its highest potential,” said Walkway Executive Director Elizabeth Waldstein-Hart. “We believe Trish will help lead that effort.”
“I hope to capitalize on the enormous success of the Walkway by turning that positive energy into even greater philanthropic support,” said Ms. Prunty. “I look forward to meeting the many people who contribute to this remarkable organization in coming weeks.”
